This policy describes data processing on pogrebnosilans.com and in related communications. Last updated: 22 September 2026.

Controller and contact

The controller is SILANS PREDUZEĆE ZA USLUGE I PROMET DOO BEOGRAD (ZEMUN), registration number 17415735, Serbian tax number 100098380. Contact address: Koste Dragićevića 35, Zemun, Belgrade, Serbia. For privacy matters, email pomoc@pogrebnosilans.com or call 060 164 1234.

Information collected and purposes

The contact form requests your name, email, message and optional telephone number. We use these to reply and, at your request, prepare or perform a service. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract or performing a contract; other voluntary enquiries rely on the consent given in the form. Required fields are needed to process an enquiry through the form. You can also telephone or email us. The contact form does not accept attachments.

For a tribute, we receive information about the person, text, signature, optional photograph and dates, plus the sender’s name and email. We process the public content to provide the requested publication, based on the sender’s confirmed consent and authority. Contact details are used privately for verification and moderation. Do not submit other people’s private contacts, medical records, national identity numbers or information unnecessary for the tribute.

Technical request information, including IP addresses at server level and browser information, is processed to protect the site. Our form’s request limit uses a derived IP identifier. The basis is our legitimate interest in security and preventing abuse. Information required for invoices and other statutory duties is processed to meet legal obligations.

Storage and recipients

Enquiries are stored in non-public WordPress administration and emailed to pomoc@pogrebnosilans.com, with forwarding to silans91@gmail.com. A copy also remains in the Loopia mailbox. Access is available to authorised Silans personnel, hosting and email provider Loopia, and Google through Gmail. Information needed for an agreed service may be provided to the cemetery, transporter, relevant authority or another involved provider, limited to what the task requires.

A submitted tribute photograph is stored outside the public directory before approval. After approval, text and photograph become public while the sender’s contact remains private. Images are processed for display and removal of embedded metadata. Others can view, copy or index public content; removal from our site does not automatically delete their copies.

Google services and international processing

Google Maps and reCAPTCHA load only after you allow them in settings. Google may then receive your IP address, browser information and data needed to display the map or assess automated behaviour. reCAPTCHA protects the form from abuse and is not antivirus software. If you do not enable it, you can contact us by email or telephone.

Gmail and enabled Google services may involve processing outside Serbia. Transfer arrangements and safeguards depend on the particular service and the provider’s contractual terms; you may ask us for information about the relevant transfer and protection. See Google’s privacy information and the reCAPTCHA data processing terms. We do not sell data or use enquiries for marketing without a separate basis.

Retention

We retain enquiries and correspondence as needed to reply, deliver the agreed service and deal with related legitimate requests. Business records subject to statutory retention are kept for the required periods. Pending tributes are retained for a publication decision; approved tributes remain while public publication serves its purpose or until a justified request leads to correction or removal. These are not automatic deletion periods: further retention is assessed against the purpose and obligations.

Temporary enquiry limits last one hour, duplicate tribute-submission records up to 24 hours, and used reCAPTCHA-response identifiers five minutes. Cookie choices are remembered for 180 days. Recovery copies and hosting-provider logs have separate cycles; ask us about a particular record where needed.

Your rights

Depending on the legal basis and applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. We do not make decisions with legal effects about you solely through automated processing.

Describe your request using the contact above. We verify identity only as necessary. We respond about the action taken within 30 days; where the law permits a further 60 days, we explain the extension within the initial 30 days. You may complain to Serbia’s Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.

Change external-service choices through “Cookie settings” in the footer. See the Cookie policy for details.

Analytics and advertising measurement

With your separate consent, we use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to measure visits, traffic sources, calculator use, phone and email clicks, and successfully received enquiries. A phone click does not confirm a completed call. We do not send message text, visitor names, email addresses, phone numbers or names entered in obituary and schedule searches to Google. Personal-content URLs are reduced to general categories and search parameters are removed.

Microsoft Clarity is enabled through a separate website-improvement choice. It provides click maps, scrolling data and session replays. We use strict text masking and additionally mask forms and obituary fragments. Recording is disabled on contact, calculator, schedule and obituary pages, and on URLs containing query parameters. We do not connect recordings to visitors’ contact details.

Advertising measurement is a separate choice that requires analytics consent. It may associate a visit and enquiry with a Google ad using a technical click identifier. Ad personalisation, Google Signals and remarketing remain disabled. Google and Microsoft may process technical data, including device data and IP addresses within their services, outside Serbia. See Google Privacy and Microsoft Privacy.

Optional measurement starts only after your choice. You can decline it and continue using the website. Withdraw consent through Cookie settings in the footer. This stops future measurement and removes accessible measurement cookies on our domain; it does not automatically delete data already collected. Send requests to pomoc@pogrebnosilans.com.
